Folding Treadmill (Manual Incline)

This treadmill is sized for home use, with a running deck that balances a workable length against a footprint that fits in a spare room rather than a dedicated gym space. The incline adjusts manually across a few fixed settings using a pin, rather than a motorized incline system, which keeps the unit simpler and lighter overall.

The deck itself uses a shock-absorbing layer beneath the belt, softening impact on the joints compared to running on a bare hard surface. A safety key clips to clothing and connects to the console, cutting power automatically if the user moves too far from the console during use.

The frame hinges just behind the console and folds the deck up vertically, locking in the folded position with a support strut so it doesn't drop unexpectedly. Transport wheels on the base let it roll into a closet or against a wall once folded.
